Mark Priestley is an experienced leader and business builder who prides himself on being able to connect the dots between technology, strategy, product and design.
Mark was one of the founding team at Adaptive Lab, a leading strategic design agency that was acquired by Idean in 2018 and merged with frog in 2021. During his time in the business he wore many hats, often at the same time, but ended up leading the Business Design practice as well as sitting on the leadership team and overseeing new business and projects worth £Ms. He partnered with clients across a variety of sectors – including healthcare, utilities, telco, technology and financial services – helping them radically improve or (re)invent some of their most critical products and services.
Before Adaptive Lab Mark worked at Vodafone, first as an R&D engineer exploring future technologies and services – mobile TV, packaged web apps and dynamic networks to mention a few – and later as a Product Delivery Lead where he was responsible for the roll-out three location based applications.
Mark studied Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex, winning an award for his final year project that used Artificial Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms to make (really bad) music.
